When it comes to ciggie smoking couriers, Hunners is number one. Have you heard the story where after a night at Mobius, he rode his fixie home over the Bonnet passing the ‘serious’ Saturday morning roadie ride with a ciggie hanging out of the corner of his mouth? Classic.
They all just take themselves a little seriously, don’t they?

I agree ben, i didnt pay much attention to what they had to say, a bit pretentious for me too. There were a couple of nice shots though ! is there a velodrome in hobart ?
Yep, Hobart has a Velodrome. There is a loop around Netown Oval, none to flash, it’s pretty flat and only has a slight bank on the back straight. There is racing there on friday nights throughout summer from 6pm. Worth going along to.
There used to be several more Velodromes in the south. There was an outdoor wooden track in Moonah, a grass track around the TCA Cricket Ground (you can still see the banking), two in New Norfolk, one at Brighton, Colebrook has one and there is another in Franklin. All sadly now defunct.
