The debate is finally settled and the results are in.
Gears officially blow .
Like an anchor they add weight and slow you down. Time is wasted each time you faff about changing them. Do yourselves a favour and ditch the dead weight. Fixed is quite simply faster. I ran a series of er, ‘experiments’ to prove the above statements. Twice I rode the Southern Vets TT @ Sandford, once on a steel fixed gear clunker and the second on a trick full carbon, geared race bike.. AND what happened? I was FASTER on the the FIXED gear! The results speak for themselves:
Geared carbon wunder bike – Time: 23:26 Average Speed: 35.33kmph
Fixed gear steel clunker – Time: 23:24 Average Speed: 35.88kmph
Fuck Fixed, hurt knee and stiff bax are the only thing you get from fixed. 700c Flat bar Single Speed are the only way to fly around town. Guess what fixy homos you can actually roll-down hills, fancy that. Note: I have done no testing to support this ascertion and ravings of an idiot.
Hurt knee? stiff back? C’mon Craig, I’ve heard that you’re about as hard as fairy-floss..? Haha…
..and as for rolling down hills, unfortunatly the nearest hill to home is some 500km away so the ability to roll downward is irrelevant to me now 🙁
Yeah your spot on Ben . Thinking about selling my bikes and buying a fixie.Check the points score so far.

You didnt even ride the second and third race and your smashing us.The way its going you might take out the series on Saturday if ya dont turn up.I’ll see if I can get them to post the trophy to the NT.
This is irrefutable scientific proof that fixed is best.
Scientific tests proved that fixie riders were 100 percent more idiotic than ordinary bike riders, with the incipient retardation causing them to indulge obviously bullshit notions such as “constantly pedalling is fun” and “if track racers use fixies it must mean they are the best”.
